Seattle Weather: Mostly sunny and 60s return Wednesday
A mix of sun and clouds today with a few showers around earlier. Temperatures are slightly warmer with highs into the upper 50s to low 60s.
You might also notice how late the sun has been setting, giving us plenty of daylight! Today we will see 14 hours 48 minutes and 46 seconds. We actually see more daylight at the beginning of May than we do on the same day in August. The longest day of the year is Summer Solstice, June 20!
It will be a chilly night with clearing skies and lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.
A few morning clouds will be around to start Wednesday, but very patchy at best. Skies will clear by midday.
Highs will finally warm back to seasonal temperatures, the mid to low 60s with mostly sunny skies.
Temperatures will continue to warm each day through Saturday. High pressure will build as offshore flow continues from Friday into Saturday. Highs will get to the mid 80s even at the coast by Friday.
Skies will remain sunny and dry for the extended forecast. A good reminder as we head into the beginning of the warmer months-- the air may be warm, but the water is still COLD! Always practice good water safety!
