Schrader Realty relocates in Lima

Apr. 9—LIMA — A local realty company is planting roots in Lima. Schrader Realty held a grand re-opening for its new location at 2311 Spencerville Road with the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday evening.

"The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce is proud to be here as Schrader Realty opens its new location," President Jed Metzger said. "They are located right off Spencerville Road. It is a great place for them to be. If you ever have any realty needs, these are the people you want to come and talk to."

Owner Krista Schrader said the company has locations in Delphos and Van Wert but previously rented space in Lima for clients.

"We have been open since 2009," Schrader said. "We have always sold in Lima but wanted a central location."

The company was previously located close to the roundabout in Shawnee. The purchase of the new building was finalized at the beginning of March.

"We sell anything from residential to commercial," Schrader said. "We also do multifamily units and farms. We have 13 agents from Lima to Van Wert. We have been constantly growing — we just wanted a place where we were not paying rent."

Schrader also said the company does sell homes in locations such as Wapakoneta or St. Marys.

"We have done some remodeling and eventually we will do a little bit more," Schrader said. "It did not need a whole lot. We also plan to re-do the parking lot."

Schrader will host a grand opening for the community from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, at 2311 Spencerville Road.
