Sade Robinson: Sonar boat searches Lake Michigan for any remains
MILWAUKEE COUNTY, Wis. - The search for the rest of Sade Robinson’s remains in Lake Michigan continued on Friday, April 19.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office called in a volunteer group from Black River Falls that specializes in recovery operations.
"It's a needle in a haystack," said Keith Cormican, Director of Bruce's Legacy, "Just trying to figure out what we can see in there and if there's anything in there. That's the big thing with this case, not 100% sure where the rest of this stuff's at."
Keith Cormican, another volunteer with Bruce's Legacy, and a sheriff's deputy spent hours aboard a boat offshore from Warnimont Park.

They first used a towable sonar.
"I was really hoping it was going to be a lot sandier," Cormican added.
But the rocky shallows didn't give them a clear picture. They later turned to a remote vehicle.
"Searching by a camera. And we can see a live video on the boat," Cormican said, "Nothing was found today. It's tough searching in the rocks like that, when we're looking for small items, as it can be extremely difficult."
Prosecutors say Maxwell Anderson killed Sade Robinson. Her severed leg was first found in the area on April 2.
A torso and arm, believed to be Robinson's, were found on Thursday, April 18, washed up along a remote portion of beach in South Milwaukee.
The group, Bruce's Legacy, is named after Bruce Cormican, a firefighter who died after a water rescue years ago.
His brother, Keith, runs the search and rescue organization in his brother's memory.

After several hours, the group packed up and pulled out.
"This case is just horrible. I can't even imagine family having to deal with what they've had to deal with," Cormican added, "We tend to drive harder to help them find everything they need. The worst part is not being able to find what we're looking for."
But he says they will be ready to come back, if and when they get the call.
A vigil for Sade Robinsons is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday night, April 19, at Kilbourn Reservoir Park in Milwaukee.
Maxwell Anderson is due back in court Monday, April 22.
