After 10 years of late-night cookie deliveries, Sacramento sweet shop Cookies and Milk is closing.

The shop announced Thursday via social media that this is its last week in business, adding that it will permanently shut its doors on Sunday.

“Thank you Sacramento for your support,” Cookies and Milk said on an Instagram post. “It’s been an amazing 10 years.”

Located at 1201 F St., Cookies and Milk specializes in delivering sweet treats to customers from 6 to 11:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 4 to 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

“We started Cookies & Milk because during late nights in Sacramento, we were looking for the perfect late night treat to satisfy our sweet tooth, but couldn’t find anything that delivered,” founders Nick Altman and Will Countryman said on the shop’s website. “So we created Cookies & Milk and began satisfying the cookie cravings Sacramento residents everywhere.”

The shop’s menu features cookies in an assortment of flavors, ranging from classics such as chocolate chip and snickerdoodle to specials including apple pie, Mexican hot chocolate, Oreo cheesecake and Almond Joy..

In addition to ordering in person, customers can call 916-539-3205 or order online or via an app, such as Postmates, to get their dessert fix.

The Sacramento Bee reached out to Cookies and Milk for comment, but the business had not responded as of Friday afternoon.
