You won’t have to worry about “November Rain” when Guns N’ Roses comes to Kansas City for an outdoor show later this year.

The band, which is in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, announced it will be playing a concert at Kauffman Stadium on Sept. 23. The Royals will be playing the second of a three-game weekend series in Houston that weekend.

Guns N’ Roses shot to stardom in the late 1980s with a string of hits including “Sweet Child O Mine” and “Paradise City” from the album “Appetite for Destruction.”

The band is planning a tour that will begin in Tel Aviv in June, then go to Europe before coming to North America.

Tickets for the show at Kauffman Stadium go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. A presale will begin Wednesday for people who join the band’s Nightrain fan club.

There will be seating on the Kauffman Stadium field and in the stadium. The Royals announced parking will cost $30, but for oversized vehicles that will be $45 and RV/bus parking will cost $60. Parking must be purchased in advance.

This is the second year in a row a concert will be held at Kauffman Stadium. Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and Poison played at the ballpark last July.

Guns N’ Roses played across the Truman Sports Complex at Arrowhead Stadium in 2016.
