Do you have questions for candidates for Illinois attorney general and other statewide offices?

Journalists representing news organizations across Illinois and under the auspices of the Illinois Associated Press Managing Editors Association are planning to interview statewide candidates for office before the Nov. 8 election.

The interviews will be recorded and shared with readers across the state.

The BND is part of this project and is reaching out to readers to ask for help in crafting questions for candidates.

Specifically, what questions do you have for the candidates running for Illinois attorney general: incumbent Democrat Kwame Raoul, Republican Tom DeVore and Libertarian Dan Robin? Or, if you don’t have a specific question, what topics would you like to hear them discuss in a recorded interview?

Do you have questions for candidates in other races, like governor, secretary of state and U.S. senator?

Please send your suggestions to jcouch@bnd.com or newsroom@bnd.com and include AG questions in the subject line.

And if you have other suggestions for candidate coverage that would help you make your voting decisions, please share them as well.

Thanks for your input and for your support of the BND.
