Pritzker Military Archives Center celebrates grand opening

KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. - The new Pritzker Military Archives Center held its grand opening in Kenosha County on Saturday, May 25.

Part of the Pritzker Military Museum and Library, located on 12th Street west of 100th Avenue, it allows patrons to immerse themselves in military history.

Jahn architects designed the facility. The 9,400-square-foot gallery aims to restore, preserve and store military collections while providing education on military history.

The museum is working to make the displays available for all not just in person, but digitally as well.

Saturday's grand opening included opening remarks, giveaways and a behind-the-scenes tour.
