Phoenix Suns resting Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder and Chris Paul for regular season finale

Phoenix Suns will have five players out for Sunday's regular season finale against the Sacramento Kings at Footprint Center.

Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are listed out as rest, while Jae Crowder is out with right ankle soreness and Chris Paul is sidelined with right thumb injury management.

All four played in Friday's comeback win at Utah after they each sat Wednesday's road loss to the Clippers in the second of a back-to-back.

Booker, Crowder, Ayton and Paul all played in Tuesday's win over the Lakers that set the franchise record for victories in a single season at 63 and eliminated the Lakers from playoff contention.

Phoenix (64-17) has had the No. 1 overall seed wrapped up since March 24 when winning at Denver.

Paul returned for that game after missing 15 with a fractured right thumb suffered against Houston right before the All-Star break..

They Suns gone 4-3 since beating the Nuggets as Suns head coach Monty Williams has looked for ways to rest players.

Booker, Ayton and Crowder didn't play April 3 at Oklahoma City, but Paul did.

The Suns will also be without Cameron Payne for Sunday's game against the Kings (29-52) as he was a late scratch Thursday with right knee soreness.

Power forward Dario Saric has missed all season after suffering a torn right ACL in Game 1 of last year's finals.
