Patrick Dempsey shares rare photos of daughter Talula, 22 — and an announcement

Talula Dempsey’s pastries are just what the doctor ordered, according to her dad, “Grey’s Anatomy” alum Patrick Dempsey.

On July 23, Patrick, 58, announced the launch of his 22-year-old daughter’s Los Angeles pâtissière, Talula’s Kitchen.

“So proud and excited,” the actor captioned his Instagram post, in part.

"Thanks dad love you," a grateful Talula replied in the comments.

On Talula’s page, Patrick added, “Now I have to work harder at staying in shape because your treats are so delicious. I can’t stop eating them.”

In the pictures, that were captured by photographer Julia Silverman, Talula shows off an assortment of her offerings, including a $5.75 red velvet mini cake.

Talula attended the renowned Le Cordon Bleu Culinary school in Paris and London. She also worked as a pastry cook at Michelin-starred restaurant Gucci Osteria in Beverly Hills.

“I am currently studying plant-based patisserie in order to better understand this up and coming diet and implement it in my own creations,” Talula wrote on her website, where she also shares recommendations on where to eat — and what to order — in different cities.

Patrick and his wife, makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, 58, have been married since 1999, and are parents of Talula and 17-year-old twin boys, Darby and Sullivan.

While chatting with People in 2020, Patrick said that Darby is “passionate” about soccer, while Sullivan wants to be an actor.

“Talula loves cooking,” Patrick said. “She’s incredibly creative.”

He also opened up to the publication about finding his footing as a dad to older kids.

“You need to be around, but they don’t want you around because they’re fighting for their independence, which they should," he explained to People. “They need to find out how they interact in the world, they need to learn those boundaries, they need to make mistakes. And you need to be there for them and allow them to learn from that.”
