Paso Robles wine resort is among the best in Southern California, magazine says
A popular Paso Robles wine country destination is one of the best resorts in the region, according to Condé Nast Traveler readers.
The travel magazine ranked Allegretto Vineyard Resort on its list of 15 Best Resorts in Southern California in 2022 as part of this year’s Reader’s Choice Awards, according to a news release from the resort.
It wasn’t the only Central Coast destination to make the list.
Condé Nast Traveler readers also picked Ojai Valley Inn in Ojai and Ritz-Carlton Bacara and San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara as top spots.
To come up with the list, Condé Nast Traveler editors curated selections and more than 240,000 readers ranked their travel experiences, the release said. The winners, which can be viewed online, will be featured in the November issue of the magazine.
This is the sixth consecutive year that Condé Nast Traveler has recognized Allegretto Vineyard Resort as a top spot for vacationers, the release said.
The resort received a score of 86.08 from Condé Nast Traveler readers, earning it a rank of No. 14.
“Our mission is to create an environment of rest, relaxation and inspiration for the mind, body and spirit,” Allegretto general manager Rich Verruni said in the release.
That environment was featured on an episode of the NBC primetime drama “This is Us” that was filmed at the resort in March and aired in April.
“As we continue to create memorable getaways for our guests, we truly appreciate the continuous support of Condé Nast’s readers,” Verruni said. “It’s an honor to be selected among the world’s leading resorts.”
In August, Allegretto Vineyard Resort was selected as one of the 10Best Winery Resorts in the nation for 2022 by USA Today readers, along with two other Paso Robles locations.
