Packers Star’s Gift To Aaron Rodgers Is Going Viral

Aaron Rodgers is back with the Green Bay Packers after a lengthy standoff with the team. And his teammates couldn’t be happier to have him back.

But one Packers player decided to welcome Rodgers back with a special gift. Offensive lineman David Bakhtiari, one of Rodgers’ best friends, took to Instagram on Friday to show off the “Aston Martin” Vanquish that Rodgers always wanted.

As you may recall, Rodgers once ripped Bakhtiari on the Pat McAfee Show for getting him a used Aston Martin as a Christmas gift last year. Bakhtiari apparently remembered that, and decided to get him a “new” one.

But Bakhtiari’s gift turned out to be a bit a prank. It was actually just a cheap golf cart with an Aston Martin logo slapped on and a Vanquish vanity plate on the front.

“My man finally got that #Ashtonmartin he always wanted,” Bakhtiari wrote on Twitter. “This is the real reason Aaron came back. Enjoy it 3x MVP. No more shaming @patmcafeeshow”

It’s a cute gift, even if it is meant to troll Aaron Rodgers a little. The post has quickly gone viral with over 10,000 likes and 300 comments weighing in on how amazing it is.

The relationship between Rodgers and the Packers front office may have changed over the last few months. But it’s great to see that he’s still got strong bonds with his teammates.

Unfortunately, Rodgers’ quest for the Aston Martin he’s always wanted will have to wait a bit longer.
