Two dead in Paris, Arkansas shootings Monday

One person was killed in a shooting at a Sonic Drive-In in Paris Monday, authorities report.

The Arkansas State Police reported a person also died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at a nearby location. The names of those involved have not been released.

In a social media post Monday, the Logan County Sheriff's office reported, "There was a shooting today at the Sonic in Paris. The victim is deceased. The suspect has been located. The Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division is investigating."

A spokesman for the Arkansas State Police reported Monday the first call reported the shooting as a possible suicide.
