Oakland woman found after surviving 3 days in Mendocino County wilderness

FORT BRAGG, Calif. - An Oakland woman who was reported missing after she failed to return from her walk Mendocino County has been found.
The Mendocino County Sheriff's Office said Elizabeth Schenk, 70, was found in a remote area just north of Fort Bragg, after she had been reported missing on Tuesday
Volunteers located her in the woods after she survived three days and two nights in the wilderness.
The medical team who checked her out said she was in good spirits and suffered only a few scratches and bruises.
