Police identify North Providence man who died in Mass. crash

A 24-year-old North Providence man died early Sunday in a single-car crash on Route in Massachusetts.

The Massachusetts State Police said officers responded around 4:45 a.m. Sunday to the crash in Foxboro in the southbound lane of the highway.

The man died at the scene, the police said. On Monday, police identified the victim as Amani Chambe

The crash, which led to the closure of the high-speed and middle lanes for 2 1/2 hours, remains under investigation.
