Tim Tebow had his biggest moment yet as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars at practice earlier this week.

The former NFL quarterback turned minor league baseball player is attempting a football comeback, only this one is coming at tight end.

Tebow, who won two national championships playing under Urban Meyer at Florida, has been reunited with his college coach in Jacksonville. The Heisman Trophy-winning player has signed a one-year contract with the Jaguars.

While Tebow remains a longshot to make the team, he’s made an impact at practice. Tebow caught a touchdown pass from rookie quarterback Trevor Lawrence earlier this week.

Unsurprisingly, the play has sparked some reaction on Twitter.

Jaguars fans have been very excited to see Tebow at practice.

Meyer has admitted that Tebow is probably a longshot to make the final roster, though.

“That’s the reality to the NFL, that you have 90 players,” Meyer said. “So to me, he’s one of 90. What’s the difference between him and the other 40 guys trying to make the team? To me, it’s all the same.”

“The reality is that a good percentage of your roster is going to get cut or transitioned out, which to me, that’s completely new. In college, you’d have your 85, 95 guys and you fit them in and you put the puzzle together. It’s much different here.”

Perhaps a few more touchdown catches at practice will improve Tebow’s chances.
