James Harden suffered a right hamstring injury during the opening minute of Game 1 between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks. Somehow though, the Nets haven’t missed a beat without the former MVP in the lineup.

In Game 1, role players like Blake Griffin, Joe Harris and Mike James provided a spark on offense to lift the team to victory. In Game 2, Kevin Durant led the charge with 32 points.

While the Nets have shown they can defeat the Bucks without Harden on the floor, head coach Steve Nash would like to have the All-Star guard in the lineup. On Wednesday afternoon, Nash revealed Harden’s status for Game 3.

Nash told reporters that Harden has been ruled for Game 3 against Milwaukee. He’s not the only impact player who will be out for Game 3, as Jeff Green is still nursing a foot injury.

Despite these injuries, Brooklyn has found a way to remain dominant on offense this series. Kyrie Irving said the team learned how to be resilient during the regular season.

“Throughout the regular season, we’d let our guard down playing against some of the teams in our league, and they would punch us in the mouth and we would come in and talk to you guys after the game about what happened,” Irving said, via the New York Post. “We just figured out the little things in terms of how to create separation within the game and just remain resilient throughout.”

Irving and the rest of the squad will try to hold down the fort in Milwaukee for Game 3.

Tipoff for Game 3 is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Thursday.
