N.C. State basketball coach Kevin Keatts has added another Parker, and another top-100 prospect, to the Class of 2023.

NCSU announced Thursday that guard Trey Parker, rated a four-star recruit, had signed a national letter of intent with the Wolfpack.

N.C. State earlier signed four-star wing forward Dennis Parker II of Richmond, Virginia, to a national letter.

Trey Parker, rated the No. 72 overall recruit nationally by On3, is playing his senior season at Overtime Elite in Atlanta. The Fayetteville native was at Vertical Academy in Charlotte last season.

“I think Trey is just scratching the surface of what he can become,” Keatts said in a statement. “He is an explosive athlete and probably one of the most entertaining high school basketball players out there, but there is a lot more to his game than just flash.

“He understands the game and he’s equally able to play with or without the ball. He has deep range on his jump shot, but is also shifty enough to create offensive opportunities for himself and others.”

Parker was named co-MVP of the Junior Showcase at the Underclassmen All-American game, scoring 42 points and hitting 10 3-pointers.

Parker played his high school freshman season at Cape Fear High, then his sophomore season at New Life Christian Academy in Fayetteville.

Parker has an older brother, Kwe, who played college basketball at Tennessee and North Carolina A&T.

Of note: The Pack has interest in another Parker, another four-star wing. Kris Parker tweeted Wednesday he had received an offer from NCSU. Parker is from Quincy, Florida.
