Murder-accessory suspect nabbed after commenting on Facebook post about her, seeking reward money

A woman wanted on an accessory to murder charge was nabbed after she commented on a police department Facebook post about her.

Lorraine Graves was arrested a day after she inquired about the reward money, the Tulsa Police Department said in a statement.

“On Wednesday, we posted Lorraine Graves as the Weekly Most Wanted for Accessory to Murder in the homicide of Eric Graves earlier this year,” the department said on Facebook. “Shortly after that, Lorraine Graves started commenting on our post asking about reward money.”

The next day at around 4:30 p.m., detectives with our Fugitive Warrants unit arrested Graves in north Tulsa, police said. She’s charged with accessory to murder, with bond set at $500,000.

Police had initially posted seeking her whereabouts, alleging she’d been involved in the city’s 10th homicide of the year, the fatal shooting of Eric Graves at an apartment complex. Cops said that two others, Jayden and Gabriel Hopson, had been arrested and charged with the actual murder.

The suspects were allegedly involved in a shootout in March, when the Hopsons killed Eric Graves, 30, Tulsa World reported, citing court documents. Lorraine Graves effectively “facilitated the discarding of the potential murder weapon,” Tulsa World reported, when she gave Gabriel Hopson a ride to another apartment complex after he told her about the killing. He then handed the gun to another man, Tulsa World said.

Lorraine Graves also made no attempt to contact authorities, with the information she had about Eric Graves’ death before her family notified detectives, Tulsa World said, citing the affidavit.
