Minnesota Security Asked Scott Frost For Credentials To Enter Stadium Saturday

Minnesota knows it needs to slow down Scott Frost’s offense to win Saturday’s Big Ten clash. The Gophers began their defensive game-plan a bit earlier than expected, though.

Frost walked through the stadium tunnel and started making his way out onto the field ahead of Saturday’s game before he was stopped by a Minnesota security guard.

The security guard asked Frost for credentials. He must’ve not know who he was. The Nebraska head coach simply replied by saying: “I’m the head coach.”

Nice try, Minnesota.

Minnesota’s security team should probably study up on the Gophers’ opponents. They should know who Scott Frost is.

Frost appears to have the Nebraska Cornhuskers on the right track this season. Yes, they’re only 3-4 on the season. But they’ve gone toe-to-toe with Oklahoma, Michigan State and Michigan, who are all top-10 teams. In fact, Nebraska lost each game by no more than one score.

Style points don’t earn a head coach on the hot seat a whole lot of credit, though. Nebraska needs to go bowling – something the Huskers haven’t done with Frost at the helm – for fans to feel confident about the trajectory of the program.

Nebraska faces two straight must-win games against Minnesota and Purdue before its schedule really ramps up. The Huskers finish the season with Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa.

You can catch the Nebraska-Minnesota game right now on ESPN2.
