Minibus falls into gorge in India's Kashmir

STORY: Soldiers from the Indian army soldiers launched a rescue operation at the scene of the accident.

Wounded passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The accident took place while the bus was apparently travelling from Mandi to Sawjian area, in the Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

India has the world's deadliest roads, due to untrained drivers, inadequate law enforcement, badly maintained highways and cars that fail modern crash tests.
