Milwaukee Sunday shootings; 1 person dead, 6 injured

MILWAUKEE - One person is dead and six others were injured in different shootings around Milwaukee on Sunday, May 26.

Prospect and Windsor

According to Milwaukee police, at about 2:25 a.m., a 19-year-old was shot.

The victim was taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced dead. The medical examiner's office identified the victim as Jadarien Bolden on Tuesday, May 28.

Farwell and Albion

At about 3 a.m., a 21 year-old was shot and taken to a local hospital.

The victim is expected to survive.

Locations unknown

At about 3:30 a.m. a 25-year-old was shot, and at about 4:10 a.m. a 30-year-old was shot.

Both victims were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive.

The locations of both shootings are not known.

36th and Thurston

At about 3:10 a.m., a 34-year-old was shot and taken to a local hospital and is expected to survive.

32nd and Oriole

A 61-year-old was shot at around 4:20 p.m. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

The investigation is ongoing.

1st and Auer

Around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, a 41-year-old man was shot and wounded near 1st and Auer. Officials say this incident is related to domestic violence. A 36-year-old woman was arrested.
