Michigan's weather is all over the place ... once again
The National Weather Service forecast this week is a lot like Michigan weather -- quick to change.
The National Weather Service tweeted on July 26 that the hottest weather of the summer was over with temperatures trending down.
"It's all downhill from here and soon the snowflakes will be flying again," the tweet said.
But on Thursday evening, the agency warned that next week will be a scorcher.
"Heads up: Southeast Michigan is heavily favored to see a period of above-normal temps next week and possibly into the following weekend," and "highs in the upper 80s to mid-90s will be likely," NWS Detroit said in a tweet.

This is a friendly reminder that we're now past our climatological warmest part of the year and normal temperatures have begun their downward trend. It's all downhill from here and soon the snowflakes will be flying again. 🙂 #miwx pic.twitter.com/PB7E0WEcr7

On a bright note, the agency said it will be less humid starting Friday with dry, sunny weather expected through the weekend with highs in the mid-80s.

But next week, Michiganders will want to crank up the air conditioner and haul out the fans as temperatures spike into the mid-90s -- well above normal.
