MCSO searching for missing diver at Lake Pleasant

LAKE PLEASANT, Ariz. - Authorities at Lake Pleasant are searching for a man who did not resurface after diving into the water to retrieve his hat, according to the Marciopa County Sheriff's Office.

Witnesses told deputies that the man dove into the water without a life vest.

Peoria Fire also responded to the possible drowning and were unable to locate a patient.

There is an ongoing investigation into the missing man.
