Masloski, Norman highlight area girls for Division III, IV All-Ohio

The basketball season has come to a conclusion, and the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association will recognize the state's top players.

The Division III and IV girls were honored on Monday with Division I-II girls being released on Tuesday followed by Division III-IV boys on Wednesday and Division I-II boys on Thursday.

The teams were voted on by the OPSWA district chairmen and officials.

Ridgewood senior Kya Masloski and Meadowbrook senior Kenli Norman were All-Ohio Special Mention choices in Division III, while Ridgewood freshman Kathryn Kelley and Buckeye Trail senior Myah Frederick were Honorable Mention.

Masloski averaged 11.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.4 steals and Kelley contributed 12.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.9 steals for the Generals; Norman paced the Colts with 15.3 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.1 steals; and Frederick scored 9.5 points and pulled down 3.1 rebounds for the Warriors.
