Look: Alex Morgan’s Favorite Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Photos

Alex Morgan has dominated the world of soccer for nearly a decade. The United States women’s national team star is currently overseas trying to bring home another championship. Morgan and her teammates are in Tokyo, Japan, competing at the Summer Olympics.

Back in 2019, Morgan and Co. won another World Cup. That same year, Morgan thrived both on and off the field, as she posed for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Morgan, now 32, was a cover model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. She spoke to SI.com about her experience with the magazine. This was her third time posing for the issue.

“It was so awesome. The last two shoots, I was the only soccer player and that was totally fine. [I was] really happy to represent my team and to represent the soccer community, but just to be able to do it with such an empowering group of women that I share such a big life with was just even more amazing,” she told the magazine.

The 2021 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue recently hit newsstands. There are three cover models for this year’s issue.
