Largest U.S. steakhouse chain opens new location in North Texas. It’s not Texas Roadhouse
If you have never had a Bloomin’ Onion, you’re missing out. Luckily, this supersized basket of salty onion goodness will be available at the latest Outback Steakhouse location in Lake Worth.
“We’re known for high quality, juicy steaks with your choice of big cuts and bold flavor, cooked just the way you like it. Spirited drinks that start the night off right and a heap of craveable dishes and fan favorites like our iconic Bloomin’ Onion.” according to an Outback Steakhouse press release.

The 4,694-square-foot restaurant is located at 6744 NW Loop 820 has undergone a metamorphosis. The new restaurant features work by local Fort Worth artists, the Great Barrier Reef bar, and a 187-seat dining room. This is one of four “redesigned” outback locations in Texas. The other three are in San Antonio, Spring, Aliana and Allen.
Outback has 688 company-owned franchises, making them the largest steakhouse chain in America. They are also the second largest by sales — Texas Roadhouse being the first according to data from Technomic.
Outback Reimagined is a massive project put on by Bloomin’ Brands, Outback’s parent company. Along with the many stores opening, the restaurant chain is also remodeling numerous older locations. They believe these changes will keep the classic brand relevant.
Lake Worth Outback is still accepting applications for over 100 positions at the restaurant staff. The location is scheduled to open May 28 at 4 p.m.
