Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ new song has fans wanting ‘a whole Lady Mars album’

Is Lady Mars the next music duo?

Fans hope so after Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars released a music video for their duet "Die With A Smile" Aug. 16. They performed the love ballad for the first time at Mars' sold out Los Angeles show Thursday night.

With a retro flare complete with cowboy hats, oversized lapels, vintage instruments and big hair, the “Die With A Smile” music video shows Gaga and Mars recording the song in a studio.

Mars opens the song with his signature growl-infused singing. He passionately sings about having to say goodbye to his love in a dream.

He later sings the chorus: “If the world was ending/ I’d wanna be next to you/ If the party was over and our time on Earth was through/ I’d wanna hold you just for a while/ And die with a smile.”

Gaga enters the song and shares verses with Mars about continuing to love despite the uncertainty of the future. They then sing the chorus together.

Fans cannot get enough of it.

"I already want a whole Lady Mars album," one viewer commented on the music video.

"The harmony, the passion, I can’t get enough of it. These two voices are beautiful!" another fan said.

"Whenever Gaga and Bruno release music, it’s always going to be a hit. So happy to see two of the most versatile singers create music together in one song/video!" chimed in a third.

The artists have not announced a joint album. Seemingly teasing the new song, Mars posted a picture on Instagram wearing a shirt with Gaga’s name on it earlier this week.

Gaga previously teased new music on her Instagram July 18.

“Just me in the studio—happy as ever making music. Feel so grateful, heart is peaceful. It’s like meditation. I can’t wait for you to hear what I’m working on,” she said in the caption.
