KJ hates soup. (Yeah, we know, no one hates soup). So we asked you for Charlotte soup recs.
Earlier this winter, my colleague KJ Edelman fessed up publicly to something we’d been teasing him about for months in the newsroom: His hatred of soup.
Yes, KJ hates soup. Who hates soup? No one hates soup. Except for KJ, apparently.
The best part about his confession, however, is that so many readers rushed to tell him how many great soups there are at Charlotte restaurants. Maybe it’s not so much that he truly hates soup; maybe he just hasn’t tried the right soup?
KJ has moved out of Charlotte, but that doesn’t mean we’ve given up on him yet. On our end, we’ll keep trying to gently nudge him to try a few of your favorites on his return visits.
