Kansas Jayhawks release first depth chart for 2024 season opener vs. Lindenwood
Closing in on Thursday’s opener against Lindenwood at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kan., the Kansas Jayhawks on Monday released their first official depth chart of the 2024 college football season.
The non-conference opener marks the official start of year four under coach Lance Leipold. And the Jayhawks enjoyed one of the best seasons in program history last year.
Kansas (9-4) won their first bowl game since 2008 by defeating UNLV in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. The Jayhawks hope to build on that, and this year’s players believe their team could win the Big 12 championship.
KU returns nearly all of its offensive production and several key defensive starters. But there are also questions about who will start at several important positions, including on the offensive and defensive lines.
