Jackson woman, 34, disappears without a trace: Have you seen Nicole Nelson?

JACKSON — Authorities are asking for the public’s help five days after a 34-year-old woman has disappeared in the township.

Nicole Nelson, 34, has not been seen nor heard from since about 2 p.m. on Thursday, when she left her Alissa Terrace home to go to the Jackson Premium Outlets on Route 537, according to Jackson police Capt. Steve Laskiewicz, a department spokesman.

Nelson was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue and yellow leggings and a black leather jacket. She was driving a 2012 white Chevrolet Impala, Laskiewicz said.

Nelson suffers from a medical condition and did not have her medication with her at the time she disappeared, according to Laskiewicz.

A family member reported Nelson missing on Sunday, at which time Patrolman Benedetto Ravaioli of the Jackson Township Police Department began a missing persons investigation, police said.

Anyone who may have information about Nelson’s whereabouts is asked to contact Jackson Police Detective Brian Baranyay at 732-928-1111.

Attempts to reach Nelson or determine her location have not been successful, Laskiewicz said.
