Houston shooting: Suspect on the run following deadly shooting on Broadway

HOUSTON - Houston police are searching for the person who shot and killed a man on Wednesday evening.

The shooting occurred in the 2100 block of Broadway Street around 7:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene and found a man, believed to be in his 30s, lying unresponsive in the grass. He had been shot.

Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police say witnesses reported that the man and an unknown suspect got into a verbal altercation before the suspect shot him. There is no description of the suspect at this time.
