Friday
Dionne: Dionne Warwick is enjoying some local attention after being added to The Walk of Stars Palm Springs earlier this month and the Palm Springs International Film Festival announced they will open with her documentary "Dionne Warwick: Don’t Make Me Over" on Jan. 7.
The 81-year-old singer has been the talk of Twitter after sending a Tweet to Chance the Rapper asking, “If you are very obviously a rapper why did you put it in your stage name? I cannot stop thinking about this" and asking The Weeknd "“Why? It’s not even spelled correctly?”
If that's not enough Dionne to go around, she'll be performing Friday at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino on her "A Holiday Celebration" tour.
Dionne Warwick: 8 p.m. Friday, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, 84-245 Indio Springs Parkway, Indio. $39 to $69. (760) 342-5000. fantasyspringsresort.com
