Homicide defendant charged in jailhouse fight

Mar. 5—EAU CLAIRE — One of several men charged in a fatal drive-by shooting is facing new charges after authorities say he knocked out a fellow Eau Claire County Jail inmate's tooth.

Kemone Golden, 27, is charged with battery by a prisoner following the December incident. According to the criminal complaint, Golden and an inmate identified as WP were playing cards. Golden accused WP of cheating and the inmate flipped over his cards in an attempt to show he wasn't.
