Greatest Dallas Cowboys QB of all-time?After 6 seasons, Dak Prescott has made the case.
Dak Prescott may not have the playoff wins or Super Bowl rings, but no Dallas Cowboys quarterback has ever put up better numbers through their first six seasons in the league.
In nearly every major passing category, Prescott tops them all, including Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, and Tony Romo. Of course, the NFL is played a little differently than when Aikman was helping lead the 1990s Cowboys to three Super Bowl titles, and certainly it’s a different game than Staubach’s 1970s NFL, and Don Meredith’s 1960s NFL.
Still, it’s hard to argue with Prescott’s pedigree since being forced into the starting job as a 2016 rookie when Romo was injured in training camp. If he ever leads the Cowboys to another Super Bowl ring, the arguments would cease. He’d be the Cowboys all-time quarterback.
