Fort Worth man dies in construction accident, police say

A 39-year-old man died in a construction accident Tuesday, according to Fort Worth police.

Omar Sandoval Rangel was installing a roof and fell around 11 a.m. Tuesday while working on a construction site in the 3100 block of Northwest Centre Drive in Fort Worth.

A detective responded to the site. Rangel was pronounced dead at the scene.

His cause of death was blunt force injuries and was ruled an accident, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

No foul play is suspected, according to police.
