New Fort Worth-area restaurant will give free chicken salad for a year to first 100 guests

A new Chicken Salad Chick is opening in Tarrant County and the first 100 people in line will get free chicken salad throughout the year.

Chicken Salad Chick is a fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept with menu items that include scoops of chicken salad, pimento cheese and egg salad along with sandwiches and soups.

The restaurant will be located in Southlake at 2101 E Southlake Blvd. and is set to open at 10:30 a.m. June 20.

The franchise location is owned by John and Meggie Schissler, who brought the very first Texas location to Fort Worth in 2016, according to a news release. The local husband-and-wife duo own seven locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The first guest in line will receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per week for an entire year and the next 99 guests will receive one large Quick Chick of chicken salad per month for a year.

Grand opening promotions will continue June 21-23 at the new Southlake location.

On Wednesday, the first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio will receive a free Chicken Salad Chick Tote Bag. The first 50 guests to purchase a Chick Trio on Thursday will receive a free Chicken Salad Chick Crossbody Bag.

The first 50 guests on Friday who purchase a Chick Trio will receive a free Chick Trio on their next visit.

The Southlake location will be open Monday through Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
