Fitness influencer Ca’Shawn ‘Cookie’ Sims reported missing: ‘Her family is concerned’

An investigation is underway after a popular fitness influencer went missing in Southern California, officials said.

Ca’Shawn Sims was last seen on Sept. 8 in Duarte, a city in Los Angeles County, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said Monday.

Authorities are now asking anyone for information about the disappearance of Sims, whose nickname is Cookie, to come forward.

“Her family is concerned with her wellbeing and asking for the public’s help,” the sheriff’s department said in a Facebook announcement.

Sims, 30, goes by “The Booty Doctor” on an Instagram account with more than 200,000 followers.

She is 5-foot-1 with the phrase “It’s found in the soul” tattooed on her left collarbone, officials said. Another tattoo reading “Earth” is on her left forearm, while a tattoo with undisclosed Spanish writing is on her back.

Her sister, Ca’rynn Sims, also urged the public to help, writing Tuesday in an Instagram post that “there is no indication to where she may have been headed after last leaving her home.”

“Please be on the look out for finding my sister to ensure that she’s okay and safe. She has abandoned her home, her dog and seemingly her phone which is unlike her,” Ca’rynn wrote.

“So EVERY CITY, pls pls check for her no matter the location. If you see her, stay there until I or someone from my family can be reached!!!”

The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department asked anyone with information to call its missing persons unit at 323-890-5500. Anonymous calls can also be made to Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
