Dwayne 'the Rock' Johnson has given us the first glimpse at his new Netflix movie, Red Notice, which also stars Wonder Woman's Gal Gadot and Deadpool's Ryan Reynolds.

The actor posted a behind the scenes snap of the new action comedy-thriller to his Instagram account today (March 6), showing the moments before the action kicks off.

He captioned the image: "Seconds away from @rawsonthurber yelling 'action' — in the zone and surrounded by our hard working, talented crew. RED NOTICE.

"A globetrotting film about the world's most wanted art thief, an FBI profiler and the greatest conman the world has ever known. Coming to @netflix."

The film comes from writer and director, Rawson Marshall Thurber, who previously directed Johnson in Central Intelligence and Skyscraper.

However, Red Notice could possibly suffer a production setback in its upcoming filming schedule.

Deadline has reported that Red Notice is now rethinking its production plans in the wake of the coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, outbreak.

The Netflix film was mostly due to be filmed in Atlanta, but it was also supposed to shoot scenes in Italy, where there has been over 3,000 cases of the virus reported. The streaming giant is currently looking at other possible shooting locations.

In an earlier Instagram post, Johnson noted that Red Notice is the "biggest investment Netflix has made thus far", so hopefully it won't be too long to wait before it hits the streaming service.

Red Notice doesn't have an official release date yet.
