Driver dies after minivan collides with semi-truck in Olathe Saturday night
One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck in Olathe Saturday evening.
Olathe Police were called around 6:50 p.m. to East Old 56 Highway and South Lone Elm Road, where they found a 77-year-old woman unresponsive in a minivan which had collided with the semi-truck, according to Sgt. John Moncayo.
Life-saving measures were done at the scene, but she later declared dead. There were no other people in the minivan, police said. The driver of the semi-truck, a 42-year-old man, stayed on the scene with investigators, according to police.
