DJ Khaled’s ghost kitchen restaurant ‘Another Wing’ launches from Natomas hotel

Another Wing

A major music artist wants Sacramento residents to open up a delivery app, order from his to-go restaurant and come back soon for “Another One.”

DJ Khaled’s chicken wing ghost kitchen restaurant, Another Wing, opened in the Sacramento region on Thursday. Wings, fries and more are available for pickup from Natomas’ Hilton Garden Inn & Suites at 2540 Venture Oaks Way, or for delivery to downtown Sacramento, West Sacramento and Natomas through UberEats, DoorDash and GrubHub.

Another Wing’s items riff on Khaled’s song names or catchphrases, such as Suffering From Success sesame teriyaki wings or Un Un Un Believable buffalo (the ghost kitchen’s name, too, parodies his catchphrase “Another One”). There are 10- or 20-wing combos like the Major Key Meal or the All I Do Is Wing, and sides include I’m On One onion rings and Winning waffle fries.

“These wings are the G.O.A.T. (Greatest Of All Time) and now they’ve officially arrived in Sactown,” Khaled said in a press release. “We’re all about bringing amazing flavors, to everyone, everywhere – so whether you’re ordering for halftime or finishing a float down the river we’ve got you covered with the best wings in the game.”

After starting his DJ career in the late 1990s, Khaled rose to new heights as an entertainer and social media personality throughout the 2010s. His 2017 single “I’m The One” with a slew of big-name collaborators peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and five more of his singles have landed within the Top 20.

Another Wing launched across the U.S., Europe and the Middle East in November, and has expanded to more than 150 locations in just eight months. Khaled is the name behind Another Wing; the business is run through REEF Technology, one of the U.S.’ largest ghost kitchen operators.

Not all have been fans of Another Wing since its launch, though. San Francisco Chronicle food critic Soleil Ho called the wings “withered and mummy-like” in a January review, posing the rhetorical question “(y)ou know how sometimes you can taste the suffering in a dish?”

Another Wing’s opening hours are 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., seven days a week.
