In July, the NFL fined the Washington Commanders $10 million as a result of the league’s investigation into the team’s culture. It was also announced that Dan Snyder would stop overseeing day-to-day operations for an extended period of time.

“I agree with the Commissioner’s decisions in this matter and am committed to implementing his investigation’s important recommendations,” Snyder wrote. “Tanya will assume the responsibilities of CEO and will oversee all day-to-day team operations and represent the club on all league activities. I will concentrate my time during the next several months on developing a new stadium plan and other matters.”

According to The Washington Times, Snyder’s hiatus is already over. He’s apparently calling the shots once again for the franchise.

The report from The Washington Times states that Snyder has no restrictions when it comes to “what he can and can’t do in overseeing the franchise.”

NFL fans aren’t happy about this development, but they’re not really surprised to hear that Snyder has reportedly returned to his day-to-day role.

“Well I for one am stunned,” Neil Dutton of RotoViz sarcastically tweeted.

“Can they just suspend this man already and get it over with so we can move on and stop talking about this guy lol,” a Commanders fan said.

“It’s amazing the lengths to which the NFL will go to defend Dan Snyder,” another fan wrote.

Earlier this week, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Snyder wouldn’t be involved in the Commanders’ day-to-day business anytime soon.

Obviously, this report from The Washington Times says otherwise.
