Dallas County residents win $1 million Texas Lottery prizes on consecutive days
A Dallas County resident claimed a $1 million Texas Lottery winning ticket for the second consecutive day on Thursday.
A Dallas resident purchased a $1 million winning ticket in the Texas Lottery scratch game Money at Beer & Wine Stop, located at 1417 N. Duncanville Road in Duncanville.
It was the first of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game, which offers more than $122.9 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.44, including break-even prizes.
On Wednesday, a Balch Springs resident claimed a $1 million Powerball prize for the June 27 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Elam Food Mart, located at 12300 Elam Road in Balch Springs.
The second-tier winning Quick Pick ticket matched all five of the white ball numbers drawn (11-13-18-30-37), but not the red Powerball number (16).
Powerball grand prizes currently start at $20 million and roll until the jackpot is won. Players win the grand prize by matching five numbers from a field of 69 numbers and one Powerball number from a field of 26 numbers. By choosing the Power Play for $1 more per play, players can multiply their non-grand prize winnings by two, three, four, five or 10 times.
A Power Play Match Five (5+0) is set at $2 million regardless of the Power Play number selected. All other non-grand prizes will be multiplied by the Power Play number selected.
Drawings are broadcast each Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m.
Both winners chose to remain anonymous.
