Cowboys cheerleaders host second straight My Cause, My Boots campaign
With the NFL having its My Cause, My Cleats week in which players can wear custom designed cleats for a cause they care about, the Dallas Cowboys went a step further.
In Sunday’s overtime win against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cowboys Cheerleaders had their own My Cause, My Boots campaign where cheerleaders wore the team’s white boots with the team’s logo in a color of their choosing to support their favorite cause.
This Sunday we dance for a cause. 36 causes, and 36 reasons why this is more than just another game spent on the sidelines. These are our @Lucchese1883 boots, and these are our causes! #MyCauseMyBoots pic.twitter.com/T1J7gDO5qB

This is the second straight year of the campaign for the Cowboys, and again there was a whole range of causes for the 36 cheerleaders. Some chose their to remember a family member or a raise awareness for a disease. Others chose to support people with disabilities or represent one of their favorite charitable organizations.
Today I will be wearing a very special star on the side of my boot. The ribbon that represents Type 1 Diabetes awareness is grey with a red blood drop on it but @realdealrsteele @Lucchese1883 added a tiny red heart to my grey star! #MyCleatsMyCause #MyCauseMyBoots #type1diabetes pic.twitter.com/Wlq9GzjaKE
