New Civic Center shows to feature Terry Fator, 'Princess Bride' actor

Apr. 30—LIMA — Veterans Memorial Civic Center has announced the addition of two new shows coming to Lima in September.

Ventriloquist and "America's Got Talent" winner Terry Fator will perform at the Civic Center on Sept. 5, bringing a version of his popular Las Vegas show to Lima. The evening will include comedy, modern songs and parodies all showcasing Fator's talent as a ventriloquist and entertainer. Most seats will be on sale for $45 and $65, with limited seating available for $79 and $100.

On Sept. 13, Cary Elwes, star of the hit 1980s film "The Princess Bride," will host a screening of the iconic film at the Civic Center. Elwes will then hold a moderated discussion after the film to share his experiences while filming, including some never-before-shared secrets. Most seats are $25 and $45 with VIP packages available starting at $150.
