Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce shares a sweet Mother’s Day video tribute to his mom

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce gave his mother a big hug on the field after Super Bowl LVII and shared a special message.

“You had the week of your life and I had the year of my life,” Kelce told his mom.

Ahead of last month’s Kelce Jam, I asked Kelce what made it the best year of his life.

“The (‘New Heights’) podcast, it just really brought me and my brother back to being just a little bit closer to each other, being able to talk to each other about a lot of stuff,” Kelce said of Jason Kelce, the Eagles center. “Being able to showcase our family during the Super Bowl, break that barrier, two brothers going at it at the mountaintop. It was all just such a unique year in my life that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

“Honestly that’s what I remember the most about the season is being able to showcase my family throughout that Super Bowl week and see my mother and my father in the light throughout that week. That was the coolest experience I could ever have as a son.”

Kelce is close to his mom, who was at Kelce Jam and the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVII championship parade.

On Sunday, Kelce made a special video for Mother’s Day. It included clips of home movies and had the soundtrack, “I’ll Always Love My Mama” by the Intruders.

“To alll the mama’s! BUT especially to MAMA DONNA!! Happy Mothers Day!!” he wrote on Instagram.

Donna Kelce wrote: “Loved the pics so much.”

Here is the video.
