Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill remains eager to put his top-flight speed to the test against eight-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt.

Speaking to the media on Friday, Hill did everything in his power to goad Bolt into a race. In a bold challenge, he called Bolt just about every name in the book and said that Bolt “can’t see me” in a 40-yard dash.

“I’mma tell you like this, man. Usain Bolt got out of the game for a reason, right? He’s old. He’s washed up. And he can’t see me in 40 yards,” Hill declared. “100-yard dash, yes. That’s what he do. But 40-yard dash, if y’all are recording this: Usain Bolt you cannot see me.”

If that’s not a PG call out of epic proportion then nothing is. Hill insulted Bolt in almost every way he could.

Tyreek Hill might not necessarily be wrong about how he’d do against Usain Bolt in the 40-yard dash though. Sprinters running in the 100-yard dash generally have slow starts before really picking up speed at about the halfway mark.

Bolt in particular is renown for slower starts before turning on his legendary jets in the final stretch of his races.

Factor in that Usain Bolt is 34 and has been retired since 2017 and it just wouldn’t be the same race as it would have been five years ago.

If this race had been proposed when Hill was a rookie in 2016, there might have been a chance that we’d see something special. But at this point, it really seems a bit pointless.

Would Tyreek Hill beat Usain Bolt in the 40-yard dash?
