Charlotte’s Greek Festival is back, baklava and all

Well Yiasou, Greek Festival. It’s nice to see you again.

Yiasou means hello, and that’s the perfect greeting for one of Charlotte’s favorite festivals. It has announced its return in September after a hiatus in 2020 due to COVID-19 and a drive-thru version in 2021.

“The Greek Festival is back,” Holy Trinity Greek Ortodox Cathedral parish council president John Mahairas said in a statement. “Join us for one of Charlotte’s oldest and premier cultural traditions! We are excited to be your hosts!”
