Cam Newton went viral Sunday after a video surfaced that showed the former Carolina Panthers star involved in a brawl.

The video, originally posted on X by user @vanman_1000, shows the 6-foot-5, 245-pound Newton in the middle of a fight that broke out during a 7-on-7 football tournament in Atlanta. It’s unclear how the former NFL MVP got involved in the squabble.

Newton is the founder of C1N, a professional sports organization that reportedly took part in the tournament.

As of 7 p.m. Sunday, four hours after the video was published, the X post had over 2.2 million views.

Newton is a native and resident of Atlanta. The greatest quarterback in Panthers history, who has been out of the NFL since the conclusion of the 2021 season, recently said that he would consider making an NFL comeback for one team — the Atlanta Falcons — but added that he is also content in his other football-related endeavors, which include being a YouTuber and media personality.
