Boy, 12, shot while riding bike in South Chicago

CHICAGO - A 12-year-old boy was shot in the leg while riding his bike in South Chicago Saturday night.

Police said the boy was in the 8700 block of South Burley Avenue at 10:13 p.m. when he saw a dark vehicle on the street and heard multiple shots.

The boy was shot in the leg and was transported to Trinity Hospital in good condition.

No arrests were reported. Area Two Detectives are investigating.
