Black Restaurant Week — Carolinas will be held from Friday, April 28 - Sunday, May 7, and it will feature more than 20 Charlotte-area restaurants.

Black Restaurant Week is a nationwide campaign that was founded in 2016 by by Warren Luckett, Falayn Ferrell and Derek Robinson. It is designed to help support Black-owned culinary businesses, featuring African-American, African and Caribbean cuisine nationwide. Local restaurants join at no cost.

Of note: Black Restaurant Week - Carolinas is different from the locally owned Charlotte Black Restaurant Week event.
